Which client version?
Any other relevant software versions, e.g. plugin versions?
Which OS?  Which version?
What is the contents of Pidgin's debug log?
What did you do to produce this error?
Is this the exact and complete text of the error message?
What have you tried to get round the error?
How are you connected to the internet, with particular reference to 
firewalls and address translation?
