Couple of years ago when I for a moment needed MSN I used happily 
my email address somewhere else -- I have never had @hotmail.com 
account. I dimly remember you had to jump through some hoops -- 
I have paranoid fear of getting into Passport, so I had to refuse 
couple of their attempts to get me there.
