Resent: How to change Pidgin's chat log directory?

I am resending the below inquiry because it has not been addressed in
my previous. I'd greatly appreciate your kind understanding and help.

I love archiving chat logs on different drive or partition and
sometimes perpetually.
However it does not seem that I can via options change the directory
via options where Pidgin chat logs are stored. There has to be a trick
to do that. Please advise. Thank you!
