Unable to connect to jabber.org: xmlParseChunk returned fatal 9

Hi.

I'm unable to connect to jabber.org with pidgin since a long time. The
debug messages indicates that there is a problem with some xml data.
This is the error message before pidgin disconnects:

1, code 9, level 3: Input is not proper UTF-8, indicate encoding !
