Pidgin doesn't connect to MSN anymore

Greetings.

I was trying to get a backtrace in Pidgin to post in my bug report 
<http://developer.pidgin.im/ticket/7938>, but now pidgin just doesn't 
connect to MSN anymore. I receive just a "Connection error from 
Notification server: Reading error" message and if I try to backtrace 
that gdb gives me nothing but a "Program received signal SIGPIPE, Broken 
pipe." (if I type "bt full" or "backtrace full" I get nothing).

Any ideas?
