msn spam im problem

Hi,

I have an MSN account I'm using through pidgin.  I often receive multiple
spam messages from BS screennames asking me to visit a website, purchase a
product or view their "cam".  Is there a way to limit who can message me on
MSN via pidgin? I already asked MSN for support but they couldn't help me
because I am on pidgin.  I'm running 2.5.2 with a hotmail msn account.
