[Pidgin]-When will automatic away based on idle time be fixed?

Hi,

I've been using Pidgin for over a year now on both XP, Vista, and Ubuntu 
Linux.
On all three OSs, after about a day of use, Pidgin stops setting away status
based on keyboard/mouse inactivity.

Is only major issue i have encountered with Pidgin.
Hope it can be fixed, great program!
