Connecting to Microsoft Live Messenger problems

Thanks for your message, Mark.

Yes, after creating the account as MSN, entering my email address, and
entering my password, I save the account.

The Pidgin buddy list appears to be connecting, then issues the
following message.

    "Unable to authenticate: Authentication Failure"

OK ====  I tried it again and it appears to be working.  My apologies
for wasting your time.  I promise that I tried to recreate and enter
the password several times before requesting support.

Thanks for your help.  It appears to be working.
