Install Problem

I'm not mailing Colin directly on this, but assuming he's still on the list....

Here's my copy of the message I got when I joined 
this list. This is from November 2007, so it may 
have changed. But this should be painfully 
obvious you're joining a mailing list:

Mailing list subscription confirmation notice for mailing list Support

We have received a request from <SNIP> for subscription of
your email address, "<SNIP>", to the
support at pidgin.im mailing list.  To confirm that you want to be added
to this mailing list, simply reply to this message, keeping the
Subject: header intact.  Or visit this web page:
.....

Now this is all the more reason I believe that 
any non official 'copy' of a mailing list should 
require each person on the list to opt-in. I for 
one opted out of having my messages be on Nabbles 
forum. So anyone reading Nabble's website won't see my posts.

But Colin has taken this to the extreme and 
obviously not understood what a mailing list is, 
and obviously hasn't read the message(s) he 
received upon joining said mailing list.

If you continue to receive such harassment from 
Colin, I'd suggest a polite call to the main number for his office?
