yahoo disconnect

For approximately the last week Pidgin has been unable to connect to my
Yahoo IM account.  I have repeated tried to monkey with the settings and
have re-set my password etc but am still unable to connect to Yahoo.  It was
connecting perfectly well prior to this week for years and I did not change
anything to my knowledge.  What can I do?
