Regarding making Chat rooms

I'm a new user to Pidgin, and I'm trying to make a chat room where myself
and two of my friends can have a simultaneous conversation. Unfortunately,
everything that I've tried doesn't seem to work. I'm currently using the
latest Pidgin release of 2.5.4.

How can I fix this problem?
