Finch: Change arrow up/down key action

Is it possible to change the binding for up/down arrows in chat window
from scrolling to prev/next command (same as ctrl-up/down does in 
pidgin)?

I have looked in .gntrc but I'm not sure which section is should be
in or which command to bind to.
