Password issues

I did a lot of research before down loading your program. I used Trillian
before but the reviews for your product were better. I signed up with
ICQ. My password is correct.  I had to manually change the login server
on the advanced tab. It defaulted to Aim I think it was. Still no
connection. Now reading the help forums I found there is a lot of trouble
with incorrect passwords. I am not pleased. Maybe I will go back to
Trillian.  Can you offer any help?????
