Unable To Add Buddy x 200

To Whom It May Concern,

I have been a dedicated Pidgin user for over 4 years now. Just recently whenever I open my pidgin buddy list a whole series of windows pop up saying "Unable to Add Buddy to List". The window's do not stop popping up. I have searched everywhere to try to fix the problem but to no avail. Please help! I love using pidgin and would hate to switch to another program.
