pidgin plugins

hi, is there something I need to do to get the plugins to work?
I "enabled" - or so it seemed - the oldlogger plugin, but it does not seem to work. New logfiles for the same buddies are still being created.

Also the auto-accept plugin doesn't work, I still get a prompt window when someone on my buddy list sends me a file.

So I have the feeling the plugins don't work in general.

I'm using just straight out of the box 2.5.5. I have restarted Pidgin and Windows since enabling the plugins I need.
