How to reinstall pidgin?

Hello,

I aam khom and a blind user of ubuntu 9.04 and pidgin.

I made some mistake while setting up my account in pidgin so it does not work.

I want to re install it but configuration file does not changed.
I want it completely new installation with new configuration so could
you please let me know what can I do?

It would be great to hear.
