Meebo's understanding of the restrictions the GPL places on developers
is consistent with my own, and, I believe, the majority of libpurple
developers past and present.
In using the libpurple code base, you will be obligated to make
available the source code both of libpurple, and of anything that
links against it in such a manner as to make a single product of the
two binaries, to anyone to whom you distribute binaries.
