Portable Pidgin under Windows

I'm trying to follow the directions for upgrading the Portable Pidgin on my thumb drive, but the file structures are not matching up. The thumbdrivre has Pidgin 2.5.5 on it, which is the current release on PortableApps.com.

On the thumbdrive there are separate "perlmod" and "plugins" directories. The "plugins" directory has both the "perl.dll" and "tcl.dll" files.

On my HD tmp/pidgin/extracted directory, I extracted the pidgin-2.6.3-win32bin.zip files and directories. I didn't find a "perlmod" directory, but under the "pidgin" directory, I found a "perl" directory as well as the two files "perl.dll" and "tcl.dll".

How should I proceed in my upgrade.

Thank you,
