OSx & sipe plugin any hints on getting the build to work

I'm in the same bind this morning on sipe 1.7.1.  Did you get it work
eventually?

Seems MacPorts does not have sipe in the list, I tried using apt-get as
suggested here (http://sipe.sourceforge.net/install/), but no joy.  Fink
trouble...
