On my cell phone I use Mxit and everything there is okay.

On my computer I started to use Pidgin and what a great program. BUT my
computer has recently been upgraded and my Pidgin-everything had been
erased. So I again downloaded Pidgin from the internet but now it doesn't
seem so recognize me, that is on my PC.

I cannot see my buddy list and it keeps telling me my username has not been
registered, I should register first.

 

Please and thank you for your patience with me - I am not too
technologically-clued up but I am not too stupid either. is there something
I do wrong?

 

Please, please, please help me?!
