how do I know i'm logged in ?

Hi,

I'm logging into pidgen. (yahoo messenger)

I can see other people logged in (as they have the green icon / 'away'
icon) etc...

However my status shows the logging-in icon (rotating circle) - but it
says 'available - connecting'..


The people i regularly talk too are quite busy, so I'm not sure if I'm
actually logged in, or they're just busy & not responding (they want
to talk with me on some topics)

How do I know if i'm actually logged in ?
