persistent error

Hey, so i get a persistent error saying "received unexpected response from
http://api.oscar.aol.com/aim/startOSCARSession" I have tried rebooting and
even re-installing, but the message is still there. Any help would be
appreciated. I am running Pidgin 2.6.5
