Unable to connect to sametime server with Pidgin

Hi all,

I'm trying to connect to a sametime server with Pidgin; unfortunately, I'm
continually getting -- "Incorrect Username/Password" -- even though I'm
certain my username & password are correct. Any ideas on what could be wrong
and possible solutions for the same? I know single sign on is enabled on the
sametime server, could that be an issue?
