question about buddy list problems

I have 6 users at my business and only one user is experiencing this
problem. Several of her "buddies" are showing up offline, including other
members inside our company while they are actually online. they can chat
back and forth but both show each other offline. We have tried to uninstall
and reinstall but no luck.
