pidgin troubles

Hello,

Recently, I downloaded an app for AIM on my iPod touch. I logged in with my
username, and everything was great... until I got home and discovered that I
can no longer receive IMs via Pidgin. I can log in, I can send IMs, but I
cannot receive IMs. I don't really know what the problem is, but it's very
frustrating. I know that you have nothing to do with the app I downloaded
for the iPod, but I was hoping you might have some idea as to how I could
get Pidgin to let me receive IMs again.
