missing SMS

 I have AIM. and in AIM i have a few cell phone numbers that i IM to their cell phones. ie. (+12223334444) Their number would show up in Pidgin along with a little cell phone icon and worked fine for years. But since the 2.6. update they are gone. It now shows them offline (that never did that). Now i can access them, however they are still in AIM. Please help
