FW: help needed

hello

I am running and trying to install pidgin in a linux box that is a 386 machine. I t cp the file pidgin.repo into /etc/pidgin.repos.d
and run the command yum install pidgin but this comes back as an error, here is what happens:

ttalarico at ttalarico ~]$ su
Password:
[root at ttalarico ttalarico]# yum install pidgin
Loaded plugins: fastestmirror
Loading mirror speeds from cached hostfile
http://rpm.pidgin.im/centos/%24releasever/i386/repodata/repomd.xml: [Errno 14] HTTP Error 404: Not Found
Trying other mirror.
Error: Cannot retrieve repository metadata (repomd.xml) for repository: pidgin. Please verify its path and try again
[root at ttalarico ttalarico]#

any help would be good.
