Update from 2.6.6 to 2.7.0

Hello,

i want update my pidgin 2.6.6 on ubuntu to
2.7.0, but the ppa contains no new updates and 
on the website pidgin.im i can't find the 2.7.0 version
for ubuntu. There's only the 2.6.6.

What can i do?
