Theme change

After upgrading to 2.7, my pidgin theme from 2.6 is no longer applied.

This is the method I used to apply my theme:
I downloaded my theme from there: http://art.gnome.org/themes/gtk2/
Applied it by downloading and extracting it to C:\Program Files\Common
Files\GTK2.0\share\themes
Then I started GTK Theme selecter and seleted the theme under global and
current user.

I am using Windows 7 64-bit. This no longer works. The actual selector
program is a GTK program too and the theme is applied there but not applied
on my Pidgin program.
