Problems with msn buddies

Dear Support

My problems started about 5 days ago. First I added my friend, but I
couldn't find him on the list. Finaly i found him on the list, but with
offline status. I can talk to him, if he's online, but cant see it.
Then couple of days later same problem occured again. At the moment i have 3
friends on the list, whose status are permanentli offline.
Is this problem fixable or i have to change client ?

My system uses Win 7 64 bit version.
