Yahoo contacts missing - help?

When in Yahoo, I can see my 8 contacts that are currently online  However, if I log out and go into Pidgin, I see just one of my contacts listed there.  Any thoughts on how I fix this so I can see everyone in Pidgin?  Thanks in advance!!
