Pidgin and Active Directory

Possibly, but only if you use Groupwise instead of Bonjour.  I don't 
know enough about that to give a definitive answer, and I don't know if 
that means you need some sort of Groupwise server.

RFC1855 says there should be an address here, but, in a world of spam, 
that is no longer good advice, as archive address hiding may not work.
