pidgin 2.10.0: Error installing spellchecking

Hello,

Every time I try to install Pidgin 2.10.0, I get an error when installing
the spelling dictionary; I have attached a screen shot of the error to this
email.  I attempted to follow the manual installation instructions
mentioned in the error message and the "openoffice extension download site"
(http://extensions.services.openoffice.org/en/dictionaries) link provided
in the wiki seems to break periodically and has to be reloaded several
times to pop up; I've checked this issue in multiple locations and from
different machines.  I'm think there might be a timing out issue when the
installer tries to access the dictionary from ftp.services.openoffice.org/.

Have any of you experienced this problem when installing Pidgin and/or
trying to access extensions.services.openoffice.org/en/dictionaries?

I don't see this as a Pidgin bug and therefore I did not open a ticket.
 However, I thought to inform you of my experience since other users might
have experienced the same thing.
