Echo cancellation on Google Talk (XMPP Jingle) calls

Hello,

I've been using Pidgin for a long time, including audio calls to my
Gmail contacts since this feature was introduced.

The sound quality is pretty good, but there's quite some echo on the other side.

Does anybody have a working setup with echo cancelled via software
(e.g. by using PulseAudio echo-cancel module)? Are there any plans to
include an echo cancellation filter inside Pidgin?
