You need to contact Oracle's internal IT support, assuming this is the
normal case of a problem with Oracle's internal IM service. A not
authorised error comes from the server, not from Pidgin.
Re-installing the client is not going to help.

RFC1855 says there should be an address here, but, in a world of spam,
that is no longer good advice, as archive address hiding may not work.
