Problem with AIM on Pidgin

Wade Smart spake unto us the following wisdom:

Pidgin doesn't "think" anything about passwords -- it sends it to AOL
exactly as you enter it.  If it's being rejected, it's case sensitive
on AOL's side.  It may be the case that they have services where it is
not, but I don't know anything about that.
