pidgin problems

Hello, I'm having issues with my pidgin.
Basically I am able to log in but all the IRC chats I added aren't loading and it says even though I'm logged in

Chikyuutenshi at opus.il.us.darkmyst.org disconnected
Unable to connect: Connection timed out.
