Sorting Groups in Pidgin

I just installed Pidgin for Windows on a Windows 7 workstation.
It connects correctly, and pulled in my contacts and their groupings off 
of our chat server, but the default sorting of the groups makes no 
sense.  I can't find a way to sort them how I'd like to, and I can't 
find a reference to this issue in your FAQ.  Is it possible to change 
the group sorting?
