"Not on server list" issue w/ Yahoo Messenger

Hello-
I've been trying to add a buddy who uses Yahoo Messenger. I see her name
under "offline buddies" with a note "not on server list" and a red icon - a
circle with slash. I looked through the development tab of other cases and
see that this is common, but didn't find any cases with a resolution. Has
one been found now?

I'm using *Pidgin 2.7.1* (libpurple 2.7.1).
