Whilst the answer is probably "no", saying that definitively in an open
source context is very difficult, because it only needs one potential
developer who didn't read your posting, but was working on an Android
port, to invalidate this. There is no central committee that makes such

My understanding though is that Android is sufficiently far from a Posix
environment, that such a port would be a major job. Also, my
understanding is that the GUI libraries used have not been ported to
Android.

Incidentally, a commercial developer also wouldn't answer that sort of
question, unless they were about to issue the press release, anyway.
