Good.  What service are you using to send the SMS messages?  If it is AIM,
the service they provide may have been having problems during your initial
testing.  The service (whether it be AIM, ICQ, etc) uses a SMS gateway to
relay messages.  http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/SMS_gateway

P.S.  You wrote "except text (smd)".  This can be confusing to read.  I
assume you meant "accept text (sms)" ?  The two words "except" and "accept"
have almost opposite meanings in this context.
