Issues with Pidgin

Hello,

 

I am new to Oracle and just tried logging into my Pidgin account.  Could you please assist me with my login and password info.  I can pull up the Pidgin window, however the "New Instant Message" and "Add Buddy" options on the drop-down menu are not available to me.
