Terminal Server Environment

We had requests to load Pidgin on our RDS server, but have recently run into an issue. We clear out the appdata/temp folder at logoff to remove any temp files to clear disk space. The .purple file resides there so the users lose their setup information.

Is there a way to redirect the .purple to house itself in a different location, say the user's network userhome?
