I dont have any clue what happened because I am not using windows ;)

Secondly third party plugins as it's said are not official plug-ins of
pidgin software . also you can mail the developer
eion at robbmob.com  for that issue and ask them who you to remove the
delta search engine

Futhermore before have you tried to run system restore or try to remove
that programs that it's installed on your pc

Last but not least , before you install any application dont click on
next next next next ... i think that developer said that skype4pidgin
while installation will install delta search engine and you maybe you
left the tick on it
