Outlook no longer opening

When I click ‘open mail” Pidgin no longer links to the outlook log in page, whereas it used to. 

It now goes to a HTTP 404 Not Found page.

Also, why can Pidgin not log me into my Outlook account?

I am using IE10, on Windows 7.
