asking for a feature

hello pidgin staff.

i want to ask to developers team of pidgin to give the possibility to users to 
specify wether if they want to use or not the PING feature on XMPP protocol 
and to specify the interval between PING request .. happens that some servers 
do not support that feature and pidgin is enforcing to use it anyway, i.e:

but some others server support it: i.e.:

but i think the server is whom must to send PING request to clients, not the 
client to the server.
