Pidgin on multiple machines

It is an internal Jabber server at our company. Pidgin shows the below message on my first machine when I go to a second machine.

You need to ask the operator of the service.  Pidgin, itself, is not aware that you are using the same account on different machines.

If you tell us the service, someone may know if it is a known limitation of that service.
