How to re-size the buddy-list window

Hi support-team,

I am using Pidgin Client 2.10.7 on Windows XP and want to resize my 
buddylist window, it doend work. I could only change the with not the 
length. the buddylist window always uses the full langsth of my screen, 
very strange.

Any hints available?
