Here's the output of /help...
Use "/help <command>" for help on a specific command.
The following commands are available in this context:
buzz, clear, clearall, debug, help, me, mood, ping, say.
Not a big list - I thought there was more.

If you run
/help
you will see that "away" is in the list, and further that /help away tells you that away [message]: Set an away message, or use no message to return from being away.
Similarly there is a fairly extensive list of other possible commands.
