problem skype with pidgin 2.10.10

Hello,
I use Pidgin for lubuntu (debian package). Since the automatic upgrade to
2.10.10 skype pidgin plugin no longer works. I contacted the developer of
skype plugin and here is his answer:

"Looks like pidgin has been compiled without gthread support for some
reason. You'll need to talk to whoever packaged pidgin about it"

Have you a solution?
